Yesterday I ran 3, 1/2 mile repeats @ 7:30/mi then 1 @ 7:24/mi and the last @ 7:16/mi. Sure Paul Tergat isn't quaking in his shoes, but at least I felt stronger than I did the last time I ran repeats. Tomorrow, Big Sur will be only one month away.

Nice work Jeff. You were cooking on those repeats. Ten marathons? You're a superstar! And your wife must be a patient woman. How do you stay healthy when your mileage gets really high?
My mileage isn't that high, really. I try to run as many miles as possible on trails.
Good job Jeff! Now you beginning to know what it feels like to be an ultrarunner! :) Still want to do a 50K, 50 miler, or 100 miler?? :)))
How are your hips? What day is Big Sur? Boston's the 20th. Just wondering if we'll be running at the same time.
My hips are okay, today. Big Sur is a week later, April 26th. On my last long run, my IT band on my left side was giving me grief near the knee. Hmmmm...
